Can we lock a posted period so that a user with accounts-payable rights cannot slip a journal into last month? If the answer is ‘we can hide the button’, that is not a lock.
How does a credit note reverse an e-Invoice that has already been accepted? Walk through it with your document, not theirs.
Where does the audit log live if we stop paying? Export a sample during the trial. If you cannot open it without their cloud login, you do not have a log; you have a subscription feature.
Who in your team will own clearing accounts on day one? Tools create them generously. People do not.
We would rather you ask these in a vendor meeting than discover them in a posting-rule audit six months later. If you want a second chair in that meeting, that is a scoped piece of work we already do.
